Man says, 'Joe Biden is not my President'. His reason: I am from India

After Twitter user Prayag Tiwari tweeted that Joe Biden is not his President simply because he's from India, #JoeBidenIsNotMyPreisdent made it to the top trends on Twitter.


Joe Biden was sworn in as the 46th President of the United States of America on January 20. Former president Donald Trump kept rejecting the election results till the last minute. Now, #JoeBidenIsNotMyPreisdent is trending on Twitter iin India.


The trend has caught the attention of several netizens and an Indian named Prayag Tiwari may be behind it. Just ahead of his swearing-in, Biden had tweeted, "It's a new day in America."


To this, Twitter user Prayag Tiwari replied, "Joe Biden is not my President."


When someone asked him if he's a Trump supporter, Tiwari simply said, "No I am from India."

Tiwari's response has started a laughter riot on the microblogging platoform. Soon, #JoeBidenIsNotMyPreisdent started trending on Twitter. Check what netizens have to say:

Meanwhile, though Trump did not attend Biden's inauguration, a rare for an outgoing president, he left a letter for him. "The president wrote a very generous letter. Because it was private, I will not talk about it until I talk to him. But it was generous," Biden had told reporters in the Oval Office of the White House on Wednesday.
